The Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) in Long Beach, Calif. is hosting its Viva el Tequila event on Nov. 15. The annual event, where visitors can take in the art while sipping tequila, is a favorite of the locals.
Twenty-five different tequilas, including Tequila Herradura, El Jimador Tequila, Dulce Vida and Suerte Tequila, among others, will be on hand. Guests are welcome to unlimited tastings and are encouraged to savor the spirit, sipping it while learning about tequila traditions.
The $50 non-member admission price ($40 for MOLAA members) includes Mexican food catered by Thank Goodness It’s Sofia. The evening will be accented with music and the MOLAA galleries are open to attendees until 9 p.m. Viva el Tequila runs from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
