The 17th annual event takes place February 23-27 in Havana, Cuba

Fans of Romeo y Julieta cigars will have a chance to smoke them up at the International Habano Cigar Festival February 23-27 in Havana, Cuba. The festival, to be held at Havana’s Conventions Palace, will feature cigar distributors, cigar specialists and business people who enjoy smoking cigars. The event is dedicated to the Romeo y Julieta cigar, one of the most popular cigars in the world. The Romeo y Julieta was made famous by Winston Churchill.
Cigar lovers will be able to sample exclusive shapes that will launch in 2015 and can also visit tobacco leaf plantations in Cuba’s Pinar del Rio province, which is the epicenter for Cuban tobacco leaves and hand rolled Cuban cigars.
The 2014 event saw more than 1,300 attendees from 60 countries attend to view the products of 60 exhibitors from seven countries.
