The Smart Humidor brand will officially launch on July 17, 2015.

Last year, Next Generation was released by Cigar Oasis. This product line of electronic humidifiers controls cigar humidor humidity. Cigar enthusiasts can set their desired humidity level without the need to rotate their cigars (since the product used fans to circulate air). These humidifiers come equipped with low water and low battery indicators and Wi-Fi capabilities, among other things. Now, Cigar Oasis has upped the ante with their new product, called Smart Humidor.

To be released later this month, the Smart Humidor brand will include a Wi-Fi attachment, smartphone apps and web login, as well as all Cigar Oasis remote control/monitoring products.

“We were seeing a number of other Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled remote monitoring devices enter the cigar accessory market and we wanted a brand that would emphasize the uniqueness of what our product offers,” Albert Foundos, Cigar Oasis President and Founder said. “Ours does not merely monitor and alert you of changes, but can actually control the humidity since it is attached to your Cigar Oasis humidifier. And more importantly, ANY humidor can become a Smart Humidor, from a desktop to a large cabinet and even small walk-ins. So this is really a universal solution, not locking you into to any one particular humidor size or design.”

After releasing the Smart Humidor brand on July 17, Cigar Oasis will release updated IOS/Android apps and web login on September 1, 2015. The updates include faster response, user-friendlier functionality, low water alert settings and the 18-month temperature and humidity history.
