Fidel Castro, the polarizing former Prime Minister of Cuba, died at the age of 90 on Friday, November 25th, 2016

In 2006 Castro fell ill with Diverticulitis, leading him to resign from many details of his office, handing the rains over to his brother Raul Castro (who claims he will resign in 2018). Since that time, President Obama was instrumental in working with the regime to effect change and begin a cooling of trade restrictions that have plagued the small island country.

The death of Fidel Castro has brought forth a slew of emotions from Cuban immigrants, ranging from joy to absolute nothing, such as was stated by Jose Conseco who stated he “felt nothing” on instragram, in regards to the death of Castro.
