William Grant & Sons Drambuie

William Grant & Sons Drambuie

Drambuie, in its native Gaelic means “the drink that satisfies,” was originally created as an elixir to mix with spirits for Prince Charles Edward Stuart by his Royal Apothecary. This premium Scotch liqueur is made with aged Highland whisky, heather honey, herbs and spices, though the exact recipe is a closely guarded secret as it has since 1745.

Tasting Notes: The process by which this unique Highland spirit is made has remained largely unchanged, combining scotch whisky with a secret blend of heather honey, herbs and spices. Drambuie uses some of the world’s most skilled blenders to infuse the secret herbal essence into the house-aged combination of grain and malt whiskys, resulting in the classic, full-bodied taste including a complex arrangement of herbal, spicy, sweet and honey notes.
