The name “black” refers to the color of the glass used by the professional tastes during blind tasting sessions. Deau Black is a blend of Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne cognacs. It is first aged in new casks and then matured in older casks less generations in tannins. Very aromatic, this cognac releases intense floral flavors including iris, violet, honeysuckle and orange blossom. With round and dense flavors, it reveals a gentle bouquet of dried plums and smooth aromas of preserved fruits.
